I had my first Kambo ceremony yesterday. The mark I had my first Kambo ceremony yesterday. The marks on my skin are the tiny burn marks that are used to administer the medicine, directly into the lymphatic system. The medicine is made from a secretion from the giant tree frog in the Amazon. It’s been known to have I incredible healing effects, physical, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I‘ve been called to do it for a while... and although I was nervous end scared, I knew I had to follow my intuition. I came to the ceremony with the intention of purging any negative energy and trauma that has been weighing me down... just feeling the need to heal on a much deeper level. It’s been one of the most intense experiences I’ve ever had. The process itself only lasts about 20 minutes... the medicine kicks in as soon as it’s applied... and there’s lots of purging, heat, and rapid heart rate. I felt like I was going to pass out at one point. For many people, the purging would stop there... but mine lasted 24 hours. Supposedly when you have ongoing symptoms after it’s because you really needed the medicine and it’s working on a deep level. I can say from my experience that I must have REALLY needed it. ❤️ It’s too soon to report any results yet... I’m still feeling queasy and laying low. My face is bright red today, too... I’m grateful that I had this experience and felt totally held and cared for on such a deep level by @rondnor and @elenaweber62. Today has been insane. You seriously wouldn't beli Today has been insane. You seriously wouldn't believe it if I told you all of the synchronicities that have happened in the last 24 hours... too many to count (maybe I'll do a video about it). Here's a small snapshot... Making lots of changes and doing lots of BIG personal and spiritual growth. Yesterday morning I was feeling scared about some upcoming stuff and the phone rang, but I was in the middle of something and couldn't answer it. I didn't recognize the number, and they didn't leave a message. Normally in that case, I would just move on with my day, but for some reason I felt inspired to call the number back. A lovely woman answered and I told her she had recently called me and I was just calling back. She was so grateful that I did. She was a Jehovah's witness, and she said she was just calling to read me some scripture. She asked if that would be okay. I said, "Sure." She read: Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” I am not a religious person, at all. But this came at the EXACT moment that I needed it and made a difference . Then today I was driving for a couple of hours and put on one of my playlists on Spotify that has 400 songs on it (and counting... I add to it every day). EVERY SINGLE song that came on was exactly what I needed to hear, again... to the point where I had tears streaming down my face the whole time. Then, later this afternoon, I noticed that I had missed a call on What's App from the UK. One of my newly sponsored business members is from the UK, so I assumed it was him and called him back. He was the one of the most beautiful souls I've ever spoken to. He is originally from Zimbabwe, 70 years old. He has the most beautiful accent, and the hugest heart... I could sense his tears as he spoke. He was SO happy and touched that I called. He said to me, " I can only surrender and salute you for all you are doing for all of us. You are a great blessing. Always I look to you and I honor you." [CONTNUED IN THE COMMENTS]
Had a sad and hard day today... then I went to the Had a sad and hard day today... then I went to the beach this evening and all of this happened. I feel so much better now. Nature is so amazing and unbelievably healing, in a mind blowing sort of way. ❤️
You know what to do. The only thing that stops y You know what to do. The only thing that stops you from having everything that you desire is that you second guess yourself. You have intuition. You have a knowing about things. You often get a hit about what to do next. And right before you do it, you stop. You start to have doubts. You worry about how it, and you, will be received by others. STOP THAT. You are not like ANYONE else... so there's no reason to compare yourself to them in any way. Do it your way. Follow your own advice. Create what you are called to create. This is YOUR life.❤️ #thisisyourlife #doityourway #followyourheart
On Monday of each week, I like to create a mantra On Monday of each week, I like to create a mantra for myself... something that I can reflect on throughout the week, particularly when I feel stuck or afraid. This is mine for this week. It's what I know without a shadow of a doubt, yet sometimes I find myself wanting to hide out. We never become our best selves by ourselves. We need to be witnessed. We need to be seen. There's no way to accomplish great things all alone. And, although many of us would rather do it all without being seen by the world, there's really only so far you can go until you are willing to be witnessed and seen every day in your business. Not to mention, when we are being witnessed and seen is when we tend to step it up and shine the brightest anyway. ❤️ We all forget this (or ignore it) at times... so this is just a little reminder. Van Halen has been one of my favorite bands for as Van Halen has been one of my favorite bands for as long as I can remember. ⠀ ⠀ This week I have been listening to so many old songs that bring up amazing memories for me. ⠀ ⠀ Like ‘Ice Cream Man’... the song me and my bestie, Jeanette, used to crank on repeat as we drove around to all of the different stops on our Italian ice truck route. (Jeanette died shortly after that and that song still reminds me of her, and those days). ⠀ ⠀ And ‘Jamie’s Crying’... the song me and my teenage boyfriend listened to on repeat after he broke up with his girlfriend Jamie to be with me instead. ⠀ ⠀ The music is amazing...⠀ ⠀ But what’s even more amazing is the legacy. ⠀ ⠀ Eddie Van Halen left such an enormous legacy. Every time I listen to the music, it inspires me beyond words. It’s hard to even wrap my head around. ⠀ ⠀ And, even more, I’ve been thinking about all of the other legacies that have been left in recent years, and in non recent years as well. ⠀ ⠀ Legacies inspire me.⠀ ⠀ People’s greatness inspires me. ⠀ ⠀ Rest in peace, Eddie Van Halen. When I think about all of the coaches I've had ove When I think about all of the coaches I've had over the years, I realize that these are some of the people that have had the most impact on me and my life.⠀ ⠀ They are the people that have pushed me beyond where I thought I could go. ⠀ ⠀ They are the ones who believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself.⠀ ⠀ They taught me how to take my game to the next level (whether it was regarding a sport, a workout, a business venture, or something regarding my personal development).⠀ ⠀ They encouraged me to play a bigger game and to live up to my full potential.⠀ ⠀ And, I have to admit... I haven't always been the most coachable person. I like to fight back and defend my weaknesses sometimes. (if you've ever tried to coach me you will certainly agree🙂 ).⠀ ⠀ A coaches job can be pretty tricky sometimes...⠀ ⠀ So today, I just want to acknowledge all of the amazing coaches out there... whether you are coaching people in person or through their headphones... your work is so important and makes such a huge impact on all of us, and on the world. ⠀ ⠀ Thank you!❤️⠀ ⠀ Who is one (or more) of the coaches that has made the biggest difference for you?
