The most powerful stuff I have ever done in my bus The most powerful stuff I have ever done in my business - the stuff that has changed the most lives (and produced the biggest results and the most engagement)- has come straight from my heart. Without fail... when I let my inspiration and my vision pour out of me without getting into perfection mode or trying to be like anybody else, that's when the people are moved (and helped) the most. Unfortunately, too often as humans, we get stuck trying to edit and script and perfect our words, to the point where they no longer connect with people's hearts. When you take a stand for something you believe in and share it from your heart (not your head), you will make a way bigger difference than you can ever make when you are trying to get it right. Sometimes life's challenges just come all at once, Sometimes life's challenges just come all at once, and it can feel like a LOT. This has been one of those weeks for me. I've still been dealing with the mysterious health challenges that nobody seems to be able to figure out (sigh), I've had stuff going on with my house which has been insane, and a handful of other things. #keepingitreal And then, of course, there are the larger more worldly issues and sadness at hand that are much bigger than me and my own issues. In the midst of it all, I always remind myself that I have a choice about how I face the challenges in my life... and that there's peace available for all of us if we look past the chaos. Yesterday, I was driving to my daughter's soccer game and I just gotten some news regarding my house that was very hard for me to digest. We have this cute little 'Seaside Chapel' here on the island that I live on that always has the best messages on their marquee... their messages are always uplifting and inspiring. As I drove by the chapel yesterday, this is what the sign said (I loved it so much I had to take a picture of it). "To hear God's voice, turn down the world's volume." It was exactly what I needed in that moment (and this moment). We always have a choice to turn down the volume on the chaos in our lives, or in the world, and to find that peace again that's within us when we are willing to quiet our minds. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you in case you needed a reminder today. I love you. ❤️

This concept that I’m going to talk about today is a whole new concept for me… and something that I’m very fascinated with at the moment. When I was first introduced to the idea of marketing with memes, my first reaction was, “No… I don’t think that would work for me. I don’t like a lot of the memes that I see online, they don’t really resonate with me.” But as I started to look into it further, I saw something that basically blew my mind. I learned all about the viral nature of memes… the psychology behind why many of them get shared thousands of times, and how they have the ability to build a ‘tribal’ culture. This is all regardless of your personality type or what type of marketing strategy you are currently using. The more I learned, the more fascinated I became.
