Happy New Year! Are You Living An Inspired Life?

It’s hard to believe another year has passed us by…

This time of year always feels so refreshing to me… as we let go of the ‘old’ and welcome the ‘new’ into our lives.

I have to say, as I sit here thinking about the past year, I’m feeling a ton of gratitude. I’m so grateful that, as a single mother, I get to spend an enormous amount of time with my girls and never have to miss a beat in their lives. That is the power of residual income… something I can’t imagine living without… and something that I am committed to helping many many more moms and families create in 2011.

Another thing I’m really grateful for is that I get to do what I love and live from inspiration on a daily basis. I truly believe that this is the key to happiness (and success). If we’re simply ‘going through the motions’ just to ‘make a living’, it’s sort of like swimming upstream. And if you go through your life that way, there’s a good chance you will die with your music still in you…

Life is meant to be lived, to be enjoyed, to be surrounded by friends and family doing the things we’re most passionate about and most inspired to do.

So. let me ask you…

Are you an inspired person? Are you living an inspired life? Do you feel inspired?

If not, this might be a good place to start to inquire as we enter into the New Year. What are your passions? What do you TRULY want to be doing with your life? Now is a great time to start… in the beginning of a fresh new year.

I just joined an Acoustic Music Community today. I’m a singer/songwriter and my music is one of the things I’m most passionate about in my life, yet one of the things that I often find it hard to make time for. So, starting now, I will be making much more time for it… and I’ve joined the Acoustic Music Community to help me to put myself out there and constantly be playing with and learning from others as well.
