Gratitude, Freedom, & Footage From My Fire Evacuation
It’s been a crazy couple of days… myself and my 2 daughters (Olivia, 7 and Ava, 4) evacuated from our home in Boulder, Colorado due to the fire that started when lightening struck near our home.
I have to say, events like this certainly due have a way of putting things in perspective.
Nothing But Gratitude
I’ve spent the last couple of days homeless and really just feeling enormous gratitude for all of the blessings we have in our lives.
As soon as the fires started, my phone started ringing off the hook with people offering their homes to me and my girls. People were offering to help us pack, move, and everything else you can imagine.
When I was tucking my older daughter into bed that night, we talked about gratitude and how fortunate we were to have a bed to sleep in that night (as tons of people were sleeping in the gymnasium of a nearby high school).
The Freedom Movement (aka the Empower Network)
And throughout the whole next day, although I felt displaced and unsettled, I felt enormous gratitude (and relief!) that my business was basically running on autopilot while I took some time off to tend to my family and what’s most important in a time of crisis.
I can’t even imagine what it would have been like if I was still needing to spend my day on the phone doing three-way calls all day to make money. The LAST thing I wanted to do was talk on the phone while all of this was going on. 🙂
In any case, my point is that I am soooo grateful for the freedom I have in my life now due to the Empower Network. I am feeling enormous gratitude right now for the level of hands-offness (I just made that word up) this business provides and what it has provided for me during time of crisis.
I’m also feeling immense gratitude for all of the friends and family members who have reached out and offered their help. I feel very loved right now. Thank you!!!
By the way, the fires are still burning in Boulder, but since they are now 30% contained we were given the okay to come home last night. Yay!
Here’s some video footage of the fire:
Also, my business partner David Wood just did an awesome video interview with Justin Verregia talking about creating freedom and living anywhere you like (they both currently live in Costa Rica).
Justin (an his lovely wife) unveil the difference between their life now (thanks to the Empower Network) compared to what it was like when Justin had to be on the phone all the time… and how they’re making WAY more money doing it this way.
Don’t miss this.
By the way, we’re not even allowed to do 3-way calls in the Empower Network. That’s one of my favorite things about it. 🙂
In any case, the game has just changed for us.
And you get to be a part of it.
