After a coaching call with one of my students the other night, I shot this video to talk about some of the things that came up in our conversation.
These are points that I felt like it was important to talk about, to help you in your marketing.
There are several points that came up, all on the topic of why it’s important to be authentic.
Why It’s Important to Be Authentic
Click here to learn more about the system I mentioned that I use to generate leads online.
In my opinion, it’s a crying shame how many people spend their time trying to act like someone else, or pretend that they know more than they actually know, when being authentic is all that anyone needs to be.
Here are some of the points about why it’s important to be authentic that we covered in the video:
0:27 What to do if you’re afraid to get on camera- Being authentic in your videos
1:15 It’s okay to be afraid- You have everything you need
2:10 Permission to stop acting like you know things you don’t know- All you need to be is YOU
2:36 Celebrating small victories
3:38 No matter how much of a newbie you are, there’s someone that knows less than you
4:30 Don’t delete your Facebook posts!
I think you’ll also find that when you are truly authentic, you will actually have way more success than you may have thought you would.
Give it a try… and let me know how it goes.

With so much love,
Awesome, thank you for the reminder to just do it and not worry about how you think about yourself…many people already love you and many others will be happy they are now connected with you.!
Thanks, Susan. You are so welcome. I figured it needed to be talked about after that conversation I had that broke my heart. I’m glad it helped… and yes, you are loved exactly the way you are! 🙂 xo
I hate watching people pretend to be someone they are not. It seems like it is always something that triggers it-and they come out of the woodwork.
I agree, Andrea. It’s an interesting phenomenon in the human race that doesn’t exist in any other species. I find it fascinating, and also very sad.
Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂 xo
