Have you ever heard the saying,
“The fortune is in the followup?”
When building a business online, one of the first mistakes people tend to make is giving up when their ‘leads’ don’t purchase something from them right out of the gate.
We live in an instant gratification kind of society these days and, unfortunately, many people have been trained to expect people to whip out their credit card and buy something the minute that they meet you.
The truth is (and statistics show proof of this) that it takes people an average of 7 ‘touches’ before they will be ready to do business with you.
This is where the follow up comes in…

Hello Amy – thanks so much for these awesome email marketing tips. I sent these tips to my email list so they can benefit from your awesome Power Hours. One thing I love about your emails is the use of pictures. I love an email with a picture or two. Whenever I write emails, I always include a picture or two to help liven up the email. It’s just one of the ways I love to add some spice to my email marketing. Another great tip you mentioned to to repurposed your social media content for emails. One of my team members mentioned that he was not good at copy writing, but he does some super awesome and powerful social media posts and lessons, so I told him to repurposed his social media posts into emails and he thought that was an awesome idea. 🙂 Thanks again for these great tips 🙂
So glad it was helpful! Yes, your team member should definitely repurpose his social media content and get it in front of as many people as possible. And I agree about the pictures… it helps people connect with us on a deeper level. Thanks for stopping by, LT!
