#029: What Is Your Life For? Are You Living a Fully Self-Expressed Life or Are You Playing Small?

In Online Marketing, Personal Growth, Podcast, Social Media by Amy2 Comments

In this episode, I spoke about a topic that has been surfacing a lot lately- playing small vs. living a fully self-expressed life.

I wanted to address a trend that I see with many entrepreneurs, where they prefer to hide out on social media (by using a fake name or a page that most of their peers and family won’t see), because they are afraid of the judgement of others about what they are doing.

The reality is that the less we concern ourselves with what other people think, the more successful we will be.

To be successful as an entrepreneur it helps to have something that you are not afraid to shout from the rooftops about, day after day.

I invited you to ask yourself, “What is my life for?” and to determine what the legacy is that you want to leave.

Knowing this will help you to get out of your own way and to stop hiding out so that the world can see you and support you on your mission.

Enjoy the episode, and I love you.

  1. Amy, thank you for this important podcast. Always interesting and appropriate for business owners. In my humble opinion, I think of social media and Youtube as my free advertising efforts and if my friends and family do not like seeing what I post about my business they can block me. That’s their choice.

Yes! That’s exactly how I feel about it, Tom. I’m there to leave my legacy and they know where the door is. 🙂
